Three-check rules
Three-check is chess where checking is a goal in itself. The first player to give check three times wins.
How to win
Each time your move gives check, you get closer to the goal. The counter next to each player shows how many checks they still need. Checkmate also wins the game, as usual.
Same as chess
Everything else, including castling, en passant, promotion and draws, follows the standard chess rules.
Strategy
- Even a check that loses a piece can be worth it when it is your third.
- Keep your king safe and avoid positions where the opponent has easy checks.
- Count the checks before you trade pieces: sometimes a quiet move is stronger.
